Lynn McCarn was born in Oklahoma to a devout Christian family. At two years old, she sang her first solo in church and has been praising the Lord in song ever since. In January of 2005, she quit her day job as a social worker to devote herself to the ministry full time. In July 2005, she signed with Lamon Records. Her first album, “One Wish”was released under the Lamon umbrella (on their Southern Crossroads label). Lynn has since recorded three albums with producer Nelson McSwain and the latest release, "He Loves Me Anyway" is seeing sucess in terms of sales and radio airplay. " Lynn's albums all contain original songs written by Lynn and her husband.
The mother of four children, Lynn enjoys her time at home with her family at their home in Clayton, Oklahoma. Married to her high school sweetheart, Lynn understands the pressures of balancing family and career. However, she also knows that a clear focus on God can make every day stresses easier to bear. Lynn’s music focuses on a message of hope and restoration for all people.
Lynn states, "It is my goal to be in the center of God’s will at all times and to focus completely on Him. To this end, I pray daily that He will put me in the places in which He wants me to minister." Lynn feels that she has been called to share the gospel in song and, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to point people to Jesus Christ.
