Matt Gilmore, raised in a small town, Mint Hill, North Carolina , located outside of Charlotte has allowed him the opportunity to live his dream of performing in venues across the south east. Currently a sophomore at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, Matt is majoring in political science but also concentrates on his music.

Matt has been playing guitar and singing since his early high school years. He began performing in coffee houses and small venues in his small town and he has now had the opportunity to share his music on college campuses. He loves to share his music and his enthusiasm of life.

His debut album entitled "Elephino" expresses the talents of this young man. All of the songs on this debut album were penned by Matt. Many of his songs share his thoughts and ideas about life and the struggles that we all face. Raised in a Christian family, Matt is a great role model.
