She has been involved in bluegrass concerts, playing the bass in her own bluegrass band and booking bluegrass artists at festivals and events all over the country for many years. She has been the success to many bluegrass festivals over the years.

The Veniece Kennedy Band performs across the southeast and she enjoys playing bass with her your son, Chris who plays guitar in the band. Together Veniece and Chris write some of their own tunes.
